Over the weekend the weather was fantastic and the atmosphere on both days just brilliant!

We must say a huge thank you to all those who helped marshall and co-ordinate the route, welcome the riders back to Nursery on Saturday afternoon, the BBQ, cooking bacon butties for the riders on Sunday morning and all the other support that made event possible.

Sponsorship money is being collected and we will have an update on the amount raised when Nursery restarts in September.

In 2009 the first Southdown Charity Chase Bike Ride was launched with 57 riders completing the South Downs Way over two days, raising in excess of £25,000 for The Point Foundation and Southdown Nursery.

The support and feedback we had was fantastic and the two charities are pleased to announce the second event on the 3rd and 4th July 2010.  The difference this year is that we will offer the chance to ride the distance of almost 100 miles in ONE day (if there is enough interest!)
